First Gaelic Song in Soap?!
Delighted that BBC Scotland's popular Scottish soap opera River City, used 3 tracks from the MacDug/Greentrax house tonight! 1 track from The Lassies Reply and 2 tracks from A Good Suit of Clothes! In the posh restaurant scene if you want to catch it on IPlayer- about 40 mins in or so. We reckon thats a first for Gaelic Song in mainstream soaps!

Plans just firmed up for this years Gaidhlig Thall Thairis Course in Andalucia, Spain. Come and learn Gaelic- at your own pace and level- Gaelic Song, again at a pace to suit you, acting - and you can even improve your Spanish in all subjects if you so wish to , too! w ehave 3 tutors, myself, Gillebride Macmillan and Rhoda Meek. Songwriting Escape
Just spent a creative few days onthe Aberdeenshire coast with my fellow songwriter Lisa Rigby- being inspired by the windswept and snowbound landscape. Managed to write 3 songs in the space of 48 hours which was great. Now just need to get them recorded.....
